In another tragic development, the Gaza Strip witnessed the loss of photojournalist Rushdi Sarraj, who was killed in an Israeli attack on his residence. Sarraj was recognized for his exceptional photography and storytelling, which brought attention to the challenges faced by Gazans living under the strains of conflict and a prolonged blockade. Colleagues and peers, including prominent international photojournalist Wissam Nassar, paid tribute to his memory.
