PTI-backed leader Iffat Tahira Soomro on Tuesday decided to withdraw from NA-155 in favour of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen.

Iffat called on Jahangir Tareen at his residence in Lodhran. On this occasion, Jahangir Tareen had resolved to stage politics along with Iffat.

In a video statement, Iffat said: “I have decided to withdraw from NA-155 in favour of Jahangir Tareen. I have stepped into politics practically against Siddique Baloch. I staged politics against the flawed politics of Siddique Baloch.”

“I would like to request that the masses vote for me instead of Siddique Baloch,” he said.

– Pray and vote for IPP –

Few days back, Jahangir Tareen said that his party also needs prayers along with the votes in the upcoming elections.

Addressing the workers’ convention from NA-149 in Multan, Jahangir Tareen said: “Nawaz Sharif had said that we would jointly contest the elections in Multan.”

“No matter what I do, I will need your [masses’] prayers,” he said.
