Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an online betting case.

This legal action has also cast a spotlight on other prominent celebrities, including Tiger Shroff, Elli AvRam, Bharti Singh, and more, who are now under scrutiny. Ranbir Kapoor, who is currently enjoying a successful phase in his career, has received the ED’s summons related to the Mahadev Online betting case. He is mandated to appear before ED officials on October 6, 2023. The Mahadev Book app, which is linked to the case, is currently undergoing investigation by law enforcement agencies.

According to reports, digital evidence has indicated a substantial flow of money through hawala transactions to an event management company. These funds were allegedly used for significant cash payments related to hotel bookings.

Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor is not the sole celebrity ensnared in this legal web. Several other prominent figures, including Tiger Shroff, Sunny Leone, Neha Kakkar, Atif Aslam, and more, may also find themselves receiving summons from the ED. These names came into the spotlight due to their attendance at the wedding of Sourabh Chandrakar, the promoter of the Mahadev Book App, which took place in the UAE.

As this legal investigation unfolds, it raises questions and concerns regarding the involvement of celebrities in such cases and the implications it may have on their careers and public image.
