Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Omer Ayub Khan also spoke on the occasion and endorsed the Ali Ain Gandapur’s statemetn.
Government Criticism
The government has accused PTI of causing significant economic and societal harm during its demonstrations. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi highlighted the extensive damages caused by PTI workers, questioning the need for repeated demonstrations of this nature.

PTI’s central media cell announced a temporary suspension of the protest early Wednesday morning, citing government “brutality” and the risk of violence in the federal capital. However, Gandapur’s latest statement suggests internal disagreements within the party over the decision, as party leaders remain divided on the next steps.

The PTI leadership has stated that its future course of action will be determined after consultation with Imran Khan, who remains incarcerated. Party members have also voiced concerns over the government’s alleged heavy-handedness during the protest and vowed to continue their movement for democratic rights.
