In preparation for Nawaz Sharif’s reception rally scheduled for October 21, PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah has directed party leaders to provide a list of names and cellphone numbers of individuals they intend to bring to the event.
The purpose behind this request is to track these numbers and verify the actual participation of attendees. With the commencement of its election campaign on October 21, the PML-N is leaving no room for uncertainty.
According to the provincial president, the party will employ mobile phone technology to monitor the presence of individuals at the rally. He has disclosed that the party will utilize specialized software for this purpose.
Addressing local leaders, the former interior minister emphasized that the party’s journey would recommence on October 21, and those who do not actively contribute to this fresh start are free to pursue their own paths.
“All leaders are required to submit a list comprising a minimum of 500 people, complete with their contact numbers and information regarding the vehicles in which they will be transported to Lahore,” he explained.
These details will undergo verification by the party’s office. Sanaullah emphasized, “Some may argue that this has never been done before, but it is a necessity if we are to achieve the attendance levels expected by the party.”
Sanaullah further stressed, “We will embark on this journey on October 21… Those who do not wish to play a role in this new beginning are free to make their own choices.”
