Saudi Arabia condemns Iran’s “continued unjustified and brutal” attacks on Jordan, according to its foreign ministry’s statement on X.
Saudi Arabia stands with Jordan “in all measures it takes against the Iranian aggressions”, the statement says.
Several merchant vessels in the northern Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman were hit by disabling fire during military activity in the region, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said, according to Reuters.
UKMTO said it was unable to confirm any casualties or environmental impact.
