In an extraordinary display of determination and courage, Ahmed Uzair and Anum Uzair from Pakistan have etched their names in history as the first married couple from their nation to achieve the remarkable feat of conquering Mount Manaslu in Nepal.
Mount Manaslu, standing tall at 8,163 meters, holds the prestigious title of being the eighth-highest mountain in the world. It is nestled in the west-central region of Nepal, presenting a formidable challenge to mountaineers.
This awe-inspiring achievement was officially confirmed by the renowned Nepalese adventure operator, Seven Summit Treks, on a momentous Sunday.
Ahmed and Anum Uzair, not only passionate mountaineers but also dedicated parents of two children, realized their dream of ascending Mount Manaslu on a day that will forever be etched in their memories.
Just earlier this month, a trio of Pakistani mountaineers, Naila Kiani, Sirbaz Khan, and Shehroze Kashif, had also triumphantly reached the summit of this imposing peak.
