Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has announced his retirement from international cricket at the age of 34.
In a social media post on X (formerly Twitter), Wasim stated, “In recent days, I have been doing a lot of thinking about my international career and I have come to the conclusion that now is the right time for me to announce my retirement from international cricket.”
He expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for their support, saying, “It has truly been an honour to represent Pakistan.” Wasim played 55 ODIs and 66 T20Is, taking 109 wickets and scoring 1,472 runs. The PCB thanked him for his services and wished him success in his future endeavors.
