The deadline for illegal foreign nationals to voluntarily leave Pakistan, which included Afghans, is rapidly approaching, with just two days remaining.

Official sources have confirmed that the government has no intention of extending the deadline. Law enforcement agencies have completed the geo-fencing and geo-mapping of illegal foreign residents, signifying preparations for action following the deadline’s expiry. Consequences for illegal foreign nationals may involve the confiscation of their movable and immovable assets.

In recent developments, over eighty-six thousand undocumented Afghan nationals have returned to Afghanistan, and in the last twenty-four hours alone, one-hundred and forty-nine families returned to Afghanistan in one-hundred and seventy-four trucks. This repatriation of illegal Afghan nationals is expected to have a positive impact on the region.
