Former Pakistani Prime Minister and Chairman of PTI, Imran Khan, has refused to be transferred to Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail from his current confinement in Attock Jail.
The decision came after the Islamabad High Court issued an order to transfer him to Adiala Jail. The source said that Imran Khan has stated that he is content with his current detention in Attock Jail and would appeal through his lawyers not to be moved from there.

Imran Khan was sentenced to three years in the Tusha Khana case, but his sentence was suspended on August 28. He is currently an under-trial prisoner. While the trial court recommended that he be held in Adiala Jail, the initial transfer to Attock Jail was made due to concerns about overcrowding and security. The transfer to Adiala Jail was ordered by the Islamabad High Court, but Imran Khan has chosen to remain in Attock Jail.
As a former Prime Minister, Imran Khan is entitled to certain facilities while in jail, and these facilities should be provided to him regardless of his location. The decision to keep him in Attock Jail was based on security concerns, as it was deemed to pose a security risk to transfer him to Adiala Jail.
This development comes amidst legal proceedings and discussions regarding Imran Khan’s confinement and legal status.
