In Mastung Balochistan, a tragic blast targeting a police vehicle has claimed the lives of at least three Balochistan Constabulary personnel and left over a dozen injured.
The explosion, caused by an improvised explosive device (IED), struck a vehicle in the Shamsabad area as it transported security personnel from Kalat via the RTC. Local authorities confirmed that up to 16 security personnel were wounded during the incident, with two individuals remaining in critical condition.
Emergency measures have been promptly implemented at both the Bolan Medical Complex Hospital and the Civil Hospital, as the injured are being transferred to Quetta for advanced treatment. In response, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti and Health Minister Bakht Kakar have been actively overseeing the situation. Authorities have assured the public that negligence in the treatment of the injured will not be tolerated, and the provincial government reiterated its commitment to stand by the martyrs and support their families.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has also condemned the attack, expressing solidarity with the victims and emphasizing the government’s relentless resolve to eliminate terrorist threats. He affirmed that the fight against terrorism will persist until such threats are completely eradicated from the country.
