Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar has directed to intensify the price control system to pass the benefits of reduced petroleum product prices to the public.

The Prime Minister stated in an important policy statement, “As a result of the desired reduction in fuel prices, I have instructed relevant authorities at the federal and provincial levels to activate the stringent price control mechanism.”

Petrol prices have decreased and the government agencies should now reduce inflation. Additionally, the Prime Minister urged all ministers to ensure that essential commodities and services are similarly cost-effective, emphasizing that the focus should be on transferring the benefits of reduced petroleum product prices to the Pakistani people, and strict implementation of directives to reduce commodity prices.
