Sikh Yatrees from India have praised the arrangements made by the Pakistani government for the celebration of the five hundred fifty-fourth birth anniversary of their religious founder, Baba Guru Nanak Dev Jee.

Speaking to newsmen, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Amritsar party leader Khushmindar Singh stated that their special affection for Pakistanis compelled them to visit the country repeatedly.

Earlier, approximately three thousand Sikh Yatrees arrived in Lahore from India through the Wagah Border to participate in the celebrations.

During their 10-day stay in Pakistan, the pilgrims will visit Gurdwara Janamasthan Nankana Sahib, Gurdwara Punja Sahib Hassanabdal, Gurudwara Sacha Sauda, Gurdwara Dera Sahib Lahore, Gurudwara Rohri Sahib Aimenabad, and Gurudwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Narowal.

The main ceremony is scheduled to be held at Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib tomorrow.
