According to police sources, Chaudhry’s arrest was linked to an FIR filed at the Aabpara Police Station, pertaining to his alleged involvement in organizing a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally and obstructing public thoroughfares. His brother and legal representative, Faisal Chaudhary, filed a petition before the magistrate, demanding Fawad’s immediate production in court and emphasizing his innocence in any ongoing case.
Fawad Chaudhry has faced several legal challenges in the past, including his involvement in the May 9 riots following the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan earlier this year.
