Chasing a target of 160 runs, Islamabad United faced some early pressure but eventually clinched the victory. Hunain Shah’s boundary off Mohammad Ali in the final delivery sealed the win for the Shadab Khan-led team.
Martin Guptill’s elegant 50, coupled with Azam Khan’s solid knock of 30, laid the foundation for Islamabad’s chase. However, contributions from Colin Munro, Naseem Shah, Imad Wasim, and Hunain Shah were crucial in securing the win.
Imad Wasim’s five-wicket haul and Hunain Shah’s pivotal knock ensured Islamabad United emerged victorious against Multan Sultans.
Multan Sultans’ Innings:
Batting first, Multan Sultans posted a total of 159-9, with Usman Khan’s impressive 57 and Iftikhar Ahmed’s late onslaught boosting their score. However, their efforts were overshadowed by Imad Wasim’s stellar bowling performance, supported by Shadab Khan’s three wickets.
Despite valiant efforts from Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed, Multan Sultans couldn’t thwart Islamabad United’s determined chase.

Multan Sultans won the toss and opted to bat first in the final match of the tournament.
