Kaghan Valley, known for its picturesque landscapes, embraced the winter season on Monday as the towering peaks donned a fresh coat of snow, heralding the arrival of the cold months. The popular tourist destination of Naran, nestled amidst hilly terrain, also experienced a gentle dusting of snow, officially marking the onset of the chilly season.
The allure of this natural beauty beckoned tourists to venture out and explore captivating locations such as Babusar Top, Malka Parbat, Lake Saif-ul-Mulook, and Makra Top, where they could witness firsthand the breathtaking transformation of these places into snow-covered wonderlands.
Following the snowfall, Kaghan Valley underwent a remarkable metamorphosis, with its inherent beauty accentuated by the pristine white landscape that now stretched before the eyes of visitors. However, in the plains of Mansehra, the weather remained clear and sunny, offering a striking contrast to the snowy heights of the upper regions that remained veiled by thick clouds.
The previous night’s substantial rainfall also served as a precursor to winter in the district of Abbottabad, where temperatures have seen a significant drop. Another spell of rain and snowfall is anticipated in the upper reaches of the Hazara division, promising a dramatic change in weather conditions.
