According to the Election Commission, the process of delineating constituencies for the national and provincial assemblies has reached its final stages, with the approved list scheduled for release on September 27th.
In this latest round of constituency delimitations, the Election Commission has opted to maintain the existing seats for both national and provincial assemblies. The constituency delimitation committees, under the purview of the Election Commission, have successfully completed their work on the initial delimitations.

In an official statement, the Election Commission emphasized that the work on constituency delimitations is progressing swiftly in preparation for the upcoming general elections. The list of initial constituencies will be made public subsequent to approval by the Chief Election Commissioner and the commission’s members. Interested parties will have the opportunity to submit suggestions and objections regarding these constituencies from September 28th to October 27th. The Commission is slated to address these submissions by November 26th, and the final list of constituencies will be unveiled on November 30th.
