The onset of heavy rain commenced late in the evening, stretching from Haripur to Kohistan, causing a noticeable drop in temperatures. Cities like Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram, and Kohistan experienced heavy rain, accompanied by frequent lightning and thunderstorms, compelling residents to seek shelter indoors.
The meteorology department has issued forecasts indicating the likelihood of light snowfall in the upper regions, including Babusar Top and Naran, over the next few days.
